Treatment is repeated 3-4 times with an interval of 6-7 days or until the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease. They handle all the dysfunctional families in the apiary. Before using at a distance of about 1 cm from the edge of the strip, a hole is made through the awl through which a metal V-shaped hairpin with long shoulders is passed and the strip is fixed vertically in the center of the inter-frame space.
